Frank Albert Medeiros Jr. of Anahola, Kauai, passed away in Lihue, Kauai, on August 16, 2026, at the age of 75. He was born in Lihue, Kauai, on September 3, 1950. Frank was a retired firefighter and commercial fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Medeiros; his father, Frank Medeiros Sr.; and the mother of his children, Esther K. Medeiros.

Frank is survived by his son, Kala (Amy) Medeiros of Portland, Oregon; his daughters, Kaleialoha (Christopher) Medeiros and Dr. Kapua (Joshua) Medeiros of Kauai; his 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his brothers, Melvin Medeiros of Kauai and Wesley Medeiros of Maui; his sisters, Linda Rivera and Lorna Medeiros of Kauai; as well as numerous uncles, aunties, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2026, at Garden Island Mortuary in Lawai. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM, with services to follow at 11:00 AM. Casual attire is requested and flowers are welcome.
